Try Goodwill, St. Vincent Depaul, or Salvation army. Otherwise freecycle might be a good bet also.

Try yard sales, craft/art supplie stores such as Michales and
stores that sell unfinished wood furniture. There’s one where I live. Of course, be prepared to finnish them and paint them.
There are a bunch of good places but I think Big Lots is the best but if you don’t have big lots by you then try the flea market,good will,pawn shop or even garage sales.
I live in Dallas and we got a bunch of used furniture in great condition at a used furniture warehouse. I can’t remember the name of it, but there might be one in your area. Offices and big organizations donate their furniture to this warehouse, and the warehouse sells it for cheap!!!
Used furniture stores. Google them or try the yellow pages in your area. Auctions listed in the newspapers, or try the want ads. In addition, depending where you live, Ikea, Target, Home Depot, or Walmart.
