What can I do to organize and/or conceal all the cords running behind my computer desk?

Right now it's just a mess of tangled cords.

  1. I would do one of two things. Separate the wires say, from the keyboard and monitor and put a platic tie around them then the ones from the hard drive all together.

If you want to hide them you can buy a strip at lowes in the electrical dept, that you can hide them. This strip applies to the wall, with the wires behind it. But, if you need to take one out, you will have to remove the strip. A pain!

  2. use toilet paper roll or paper towel, wind up and stick inside, works great for me!

  3. Run them all through a pipe of some sort (i.e. a pvc pipe) OR pull them all together neatly and tie with twisty ties or Velcro straps.

  4. The unplug the tower end of all the cords, group them together, bind groups going to the same places and use black electrical tape.

  5. We got some velcro straps and they work great!

  6. get some blank canvases and paint them to you liking maybe one color or more then put them on the floor in front of the cords so you hide something have style and it will be a focus point in the room
