Ignore him and hide the mouse a few time and maybe he will stop. Also, try spending some time with him before you go on the computer so he will feel better. I would also give him alternate entertainment, such as a toy,treat, or katnip...something that he like s and will keep him busy while you are on the computer. That worked for my dog, which somehow always was ending up under there too! She is quietly chewing her treat next to me.... I found that putting a jar of vicks under the tree kept them at bay, since cats HATE they way it smells. Cats also seem to not like to walk on aluminum foil. You could try using one of those? But first i would check that the spray or whatever doesnt harm furniture or animals and that you can use it indoors.
