I've been working on a chair like that for about a year now, and when i say working i mean creating. Every time you sit in my chair it smells like a giant fart. My coworker shares an office with me and she can smell it every time i sit down. In fact if i get mad i just bounce up in down in my chair a few times and get the whole room smelling like farts. And by the way, accomplished this with no leakage or liquid poop. -Cheers.

spray it with only a little bit of vinegar diluted in lots of water
it can get rid of any smell in fabric... i.e. cat pee
then after a day or two spray it with either a perfume u like or an air freshener or it air out outside on the back porch for a night

I can't stop laughing at your question LOL! Try one of the auto upholstery cleaners on the market, they are pretty good at getting rid of stains and scents.

I would ask for a new chair. Chances are there was some serious 'leakage' and not just gas from the previous person!!! Farts don't stink but for a minute...but liquid poop will stink forever, especially if it got into the foam.

Believe it or not, vinegar works well on odors. If the smell is really bad and it sounds like it is, use 2 parts vinegar, plain vinegar with 1 part warm water, rubbing solution into the fabric then patting it dry with a clean cloth, letting it air dry. You might have to do this a couple of times over a period of a couple days, but the odor will dissipate. After the chair air dries, use an aerosol deodorant.

PS: You might want to bring yourself a nice pillow to sit on as well.

Go to the pet store and buy a bottle of enzyme pet stain remover. I've used it on my sons beds when they have had accidents. it should work beautifully!
