Well first let me say I am personally glad you found a computer, I was very worried about you and my other contacts from the Philippines. You are the first to let us know you are o.k. I would like to apologize for all the rude and horrifying comments, it is just unbelievable that people can be so thoughtless. I hope your family and your Grandmother are all well. I hope your friend can find some way to recover from this, I guess he will always remember this birthday. It is lucky that your parents were able to at least save some things. I hope your mom saved her cook books, that would be tragic. The water had to be deep to come to your stomach, you are very tall. I am sorry about the christmas decorations, That is terrible. You can’t just go out and replace them like you can a refrigerator. I am so sorry. It is lucky that your family had the money to at least try and replace some things. It was lucky that you had candles and flash lights. that was very lucky too. I hate going on the roof of a house, I am afraid of heights. It is nice that your neighbors helped out with food, it could take a long time for things to get back to normal. That was smart that your family knew to give you disposable plates and forks and stuff so your mom wouldn’t have to wash dishes. She will probably have to boil water for a long time, until the water is really safe to drink again. I hope your Father can get the car fixed, I know how hard it is to be without a car. Maybe someone from his office can help him with that. I am sorry you had to miss school. I hope you find the wooden chair, there is no telling how far the water could have carried it, or if it got broke because of the force of the water. I am so sorry you had to see so many dead animals. That just makes me cry to think how terrible that is for you. I guess they probably did die because of drowning. That just breaks my heart. I hope the trees can somehow survive. I hope you can commute to school, even if you are late, that is still better than missing school. I hope your dad finds a way to get the car parts he needs to get the car running. I don’t think God punished you or anyone for wrong doing. Floods happen, and fires happen, and earthquakes happen, but it isn’t because someone did something bad. I always pray for you. I will pray for your country and hope that my other contacts can get to a computer so we will know if they are o.k.. I am sorry people were so rude. I am sorry you had to go through such a terrible event. We only watched it on tv and worried about the people who lived there. I am glad you are fine, and your family is fine. I am sorry for everything you lost, but you still have your family, and that is what counts. The clean up will take a while, but have faith. It will someday get back to normal. I will keep praying.
