I live in a makeshift room with bookshelves and boxsprings for walls. I want a little more privacy, so I’m looking for something I can hang from the ceiling and around the structure as a soundproof dividing wall. the cheaper the better, any ideas at all appreciated.

I bought a childrens bookshelf a year ago and now I am turning it into a doll house for Christmas.
When I opened the box there was no hardware inside.No screws….nothing.
I thought of using wood dowels and wood glue.
